Cranleigh Village Hospital League of Friends has given a very warm welcome to the latest volunteer to join the team.
Andy Blair is the most recent volunteer to join the Friends on their mission to ensure the best possible healthcare for Cranleigh while keeping services close to home.
Andy says: “I relocated to Cranleigh a year ago after 10 years overseas and was immediately impressed by the services provided by the Friends. I am delighted to be a volunteer and look forward to helping provide enhanced facilities and specialist equipment for the benefit of the local community.”
Trustee, Steve Shutts recruited Andy to the Friends and says: “We’re grateful to have Andy on board. We have some exciting projects in the pipeline so if you’ve ever thought about volunteering, now is a wonderful time to get involved.”
