Defibrillators save lives — but how many of us know where they are in our community? Cranleigh is home to 17 defibrillators, yet many residents are unaware of their exact locations.
To change that, Cranleigh Village Hospital League of Friends and Cranleigh Lions have teamed up to raise awareness with a fun and educational event called the Defibrillator Investigator Treasure Hunt.
📅 Date: Saturday 20 September
🕙 Time: 10am – 2pm, Fountain Square. If you can print the trail at home, you can start from any of the locations.
Steve Shutts from Cranleigh Hospital League of Friends says: “It is really easy to join in. All you have to do is download and print the treasure hunt sheet, visit each defibrillator site and collect a sticker from a volunteer. Once your sheet is complete, return it to the treasure hunt organisers at Fountain Square so you can be entered into the draw to win £100.”
Why it matters
This event is more than just a treasure hunt. It’s a chance to:
- Test your knowledge of Cranleigh.
- Have fun with family and friends.
- Most importantly, learn the locations of life-saving defibrillators.
Spreading awareness of these vital devices could help save a life.
Take part and save a heart!
