Local MP, Jeremy Hunt has been championing the case to expand the range of healthcare services offered at Cranleigh Village Hospital.

During a question to the Health Secretary, Mr Hunt highlighted how no train service and the lack of a direct bus service make it difficult for some residents to get to the Royal Surrey County Hospital. He asked the Secretary of State whether he thought the empty rooms at Cranleigh hospital could be used for the expansion of neighbourhood health services.

We are pleased to have the support of our MP in keeping healthcare local and look forward to hearing more about his discussions with local healthcare commissioners.
