Volunteers from Cranleigh Village Hospital League of Friends were delighted to take part in Saturday’s (10 December) Charming Cranleigh Christmas.

The Friends’ were located right outside the entrance to Sainsbury’s which guaranteed a steady flow of visitors to their stand.

Speaking after the event, Dr Mike Bundy, Chair of Trustees said: “This was our first community event following our 75th anniversary relaunch. Our team of volunteers enjoyed having the opportunity to talk to local people and explain how we are helping to keep health care local and the services that are available at Cranleigh Village Hospital. We are very much looking forward to taking part in more community events and updating people on some exciting projects that will be emerging in 2025.”

If you have an interest in local healthcare and have some time to spare, the Friends would love to hear from you. For an informal discussion with a trustee, email hello@friendsofcvh.org
